Voters Book August 28, 2008
Are voters stupid, gullible or they just don’t care? Why do we elect so many politicians who prove to be inept, criminal, ineffective, self-indulgent, guilty of kick-back schemes, sexual exploitation of co-workers and acts of malfeasance?
Why do we elect politicians who ignore the will of those who elected them as they join the “good old boys (and girls) club” of the Congress and Senate and fall in line to do the bidding of those already installed while ingnoring why they were elected?
Why do voters blame a president or give him credit for anything when it is Congress and the Senate who are the real political movers and shakers and trouble makers?
Is it because power corrupts or because the corrupt seek power?
The purpose of this blog is to try to answer these questions and to try to wake up the voters to their responsibility of being more qualified to vote by understanding who and what they are voting for.
